Abstract

This paper analyses the adequacy of representation in collective suits in Brazil. It starts with its concept, characteristics and possibilities, so it can be compared to the class action system. The aim is to establish this comparison in order to specify points of coincidence between the two systems under analysis and, also, the differences.
