Abstract

The paper is about the role played by the Attorney General Office in the so called “incidente de resolução de demandas repetitivas” (or group litigation system), a procedural device envisaged on the Brazilian New Procedure Law Draft (PLS 166 of 2010, in the Senate and PLC 8.046 of 2010, in the House of Representatives). Once reported the dynamic of the new device and its importance in case of the adoption of the New Procedure Law Draft, the article goes through the role of the Attorney General Office in this context.
